How is it done?

Collagen Induction Therapy is performed using a Derma Roller. The Derma Roller causes multiple tiny pin-point puncture wounds to the dermis. This dermal damage induces the release of growth factors and collagen.

Who does the treatments?

Our Registered Nurses and paramedical Aestheticians perform the treatments. They are all highly trained, and qualified in this procedure.

Does it hurt?

No not at all. 30mins prior to your appointment we will apply a topical anaesthetic cream to your skin which completely numbs the skin making the procedure painless.

What will I look like when I leave?

Your skin may look a little flushed or sunburnt after the treatment a special occlusive cream will be applied post treatment to your skin. There will be no other visible signs on your skin where you have had treatment.

When will I see results?

The collagen production starts almost immediately after treatment and will continue for up to 6 weeks. You will definitely notice a difference after 4 weeks - your skin tone will be more even, your skin texture will be soft and dewy and your wrinkles noticeably softened or fine lines completely gone!
